Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 29 August 2026
Agent Legend speaks to real people — applicants, tenants, vendors — and can ring your own staff in the middle of the night. This policy protects them, you, and the deliverability of everyone’s messages.
You must not
- Upload contact details you have no lawful basis to share with us.
- Use Agent Legend to send marketing of any kind. It is for enquiries, viewings, offers and repairs only.
- Enter enquiries, offers or repairs that do not exist, or use the platform to pressure or harass anyone.
- Add a person to the out-of-hours rota without their agreement, or leave stale numbers on it — a page sent to the wrong number is an emergency nobody hears about.
- Circulate an agency’s tenant reporting link misleadingly. It exists for genuine occupants of that agency’s managed properties.
- Attempt to access another agency’s data, probe or scan the platform, or bypass access controls.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service without a written agreement.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory.
Messaging conduct
AL identifies itself as software in every conversation and will confirm it when asked — do not instruct or configure it to pass as a person. Escalation is deliberately restrained: pages follow a defined ladder with defined waits, and anyone who acknowledges stops the chain. Do not attempt to circumvent these controls. Recipients can ask to be contacted less often or by another route, and we will honour that.
Security research
We welcome good-faith security reports. Email hello@agentlegend.co.uk with details before disclosing publicly, do not access data that is not yours, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue. We will not pursue researchers who follow those rules.
Enforcement
We may suspend an account that breaches this policy. For serious breaches — unlawful use, harassment, or attacks on the platform — we may suspend immediately and without notice.
